I love reading books on success and progressive self improvement. For me this most often relates to family, spirituality, music practice, guitar lessons, and my responsibilities running a guitar studio in Oshkosh. Tonight I came across a cool quote while reading Scott Tennant’s excellent book PUMPING NYLON. I have heard the quote many times in other contexts but especially like how it can be applied to guitar playing and musicianship.
“The thing we fear the most is not that we will shrivel up and become insignificant little people.
The thing we fear the most is that we could become as big and grand as we are capable of becoming.”
-Nelson Mandela
Considering your potential, are you brave enough to be the real you?
Yikes, Now to find a book on being a warrior and having courage to be THAT big.
