I have a 14-year-old student who comes into guitar lessons before school starts. It is the best time in his busy schedule for his music instruction. He shows up between 6:30 and 6:40am ready to play and learn. We are currently working on the final Alfred’s Basic Guitar book (the last still published), all five Pentatonic Patterns (now together and playable), a Carlos Santana song, and a Spanish/Classical piece by Bartolomé Calatuyud with four movements. All of this at 6:30 in the morning with a great attitude. I wonder if ALL OF THIS AT 6:30 IN THE MORNING would even be possible with out a great attitude. 🙂
